We visited the York Zoo in York, ME on Memorial Day. Once again the weather was simply beautiful.York is a nice area with lots to do around the beach. The zoo was okay; small and needs some updating but we had a nice time all the same.
They also have an amusement area that is in need of some updating. I believe they did have a new kids roller coaster. Regardless, I won't be jumping on any of their rides.
The good thing is you can buy a zoo only pass, an amusement only pass or a combination pass to attend both. We purchased the zoo only pass and it worked out well for us. I'd call it another successful day here on the East Coast.
